After stumbling around France for a few days last week in a vain attempt to cover the world's most famous bicycle race, my traveling companion clair, who is the Slidell Sentry sports analyst, and I were politely asked to leave the country after I attempted to interview riders in the middle of the street. My Life as a Little League Coach

The first time I stepped on a baseball field as an adult my son was 5 years old and my daughters were 9 and 7. It was my wifes' idea really, to sign them up. As a kid I was probably the worst athlete you can imagine, the goofy kid who couldn't hit, couldn't catch, and couldn't throw, so the idea of subjecting my kids to that horror had never crossed my mind.
